What PayPro collects when you contact us, request a payment review, or use the site, how it is used, who handles it, and how to ask us to access, correct, or delete it.
1. Information you choose to share
When you request a free payment review or contact PayPro, you may share:
- Your name, business name, and email address.
- Optionally, your phone number, a card-volume range, and a note about your main concern.
- Anything you tell us when you call, text, email, or book a call.
Do not include full card numbers, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax IDs, passwords, or account credentials in the form, a note, or an email. The form rejects entries that look like them.
2. What is recorded with your request
When you submit the review form, your request travels to PayPro’s server. It is stored in Supabase and emailed to the PayPro team through Resend. Along with what you type, we record:
- The source and campaign of the link you arrived from, if any.
- An optional interest code (growth or ai) that shows which topic you were looking at.
- If an older headline-test cookie (pp_hv) is still on your device, its single letter “a” or “b”. See the Cookie Policy.
To limit abuse, the form uses a hidden trap field and rate limiting. Rate limiting relies on a one-way hash of your network address and short-lived counters, not the address itself.
3. How information is used
Information you submit is used to respond to your request, understand your payment workflow, evaluate possible solution routes, and coordinate a requested follow-up.
4. The restricted merchant application
After PayPro confirms a route with you, the merchant application page explains what to prepare and asks you to confirm. It then opens Jotform (opens in a new tab) in a separate tab. Banking, tax ID, ownership, Social Security number, identity, and document fields are submitted directly to Jotform under Jotform’s own terms and privacy policy. PayPro’s website, API, database, analytics, logs, email, and URLs never receive those values.
PayPro and the payment provider you select use the application to evaluate your business and open the account. Because those answers are held by Jotform and shared with the provider, a request to correct or delete them may need to go to PayPro, the provider, and Jotform.
5. What happens to a statement you send
Statement upload is not available on this website. To send a processing statement, arrange it with PayPro directly by phone or email, and remove full card numbers, bank account numbers, and tax IDs first. Never send passwords or account credentials.
We use a statement only to prepare your free payment review. We do not use it to train models or attach it to analytics. If you ask us to delete a statement, call (435) 669-0567 or email info@teampaypro.com and we will confirm deletion within 5 business days. Statements tied to a request that goes no further follow the retention rule below.
6. Analytics and your consent
PayPro runs no analytics until you allow it. The site asks for your choice, and declining is as easy as accepting. If you choose Accept analytics, we may use:
- Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights: cookieless page and performance measurement. Query strings are stripped, and the restricted application page is excluded.
- PostHog product analytics, only if PayPro configures it. Events pass through PayPro’s own server against a strict allowlist. There is no autocapture, no session recording, and no person profiles, and no IP address is forwarded. Form values, chat text, identity, statement data, and full page URLs are never sent.
- A random session ID (pp_sid) kept in your browser’s session storage, created only after you accept.
If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, no analytics run. You can change your choice at any time with “Privacy choices” in the site footer. The rate calculator runs in your browser: the numbers you type are not sent to us or to analytics. For the full list of what is stored on your device, see the Cookie Policy.
7. Ask Slick
Ask Slick is a bilingual concierge, powered by Haestus. By default it runs in your browser and answers from a curated list of public answers, and in that mode it does not store, send, or analyze what you type.
When AI answers are enabled, the chat header shows “AI · Claude”. In that mode the questions you type are sent through PayPro’s server to Anthropic, PayPro’s AI provider, so it can write a reply from PayPro’s published information. PayPro does not store them, and we do not use them for advertising. Anthropic processes them under its own terms and privacy policy. If AI answers are unavailable, Ask Slick returns to curated answers.
In both modes it refuses card, bank, tax, Social Security, credential, and contact details before anything is sent, and it cannot accept files. Even so, please do not type sensitive information into it. To reach a person, use the review form or call PayPro.
8. Service providers and third parties
We use providers to run the site and handle requests:
- Vercel: website hosting, plus Web Analytics and Speed Insights if you accept analytics.
- Supabase: storage for review requests.
- Resend: email notifications to the PayPro team.
- Anthropic: Ask Slick AI answers, only when AI answers are enabled. Questions are processed to generate a reply and are not stored by PayPro.
- Jotform: the restricted merchant application, in a separate tab.
- Calendly (opens in a new tab): booking a call with Koby. Calendly handles the booking under its own privacy policy.
- PostHog: product analytics, only if PayPro enables it and you accept analytics.
A selected processor, gateway, equipment provider, or integration partner may require its own application and data. Those providers have separate terms and privacy practices that should be reviewed before account setup. Third-party sites you open in a new tab may set their own cookies under their own policies.
9. How information is shared
We use your request to respond to you and, if you choose to move forward, to work with the payment provider you select. We may receive compensation from that provider. If you ask about an offer delivered by Haestus, we may share your request details with Haestus so it can follow up. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect PayPro, our users, or others from fraud or abuse.
10. Retention
No-response or unqualified request information is retained for no more than 90 days. Information connected to an active opportunity may be retained while the requested relationship is active and for a reasonable legal or operational period afterward. Our providers keep information under their own policies. A legacy pp_hv cookie, if present, expires within 30 days of when it was set.
11. Your rights and choices
You can ask PayPro to:
- Give you access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Export it in a portable format.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete it.
- Stop analytics: decline analytics or use “Privacy choices” in the footer. We honor Global Privacy Control as a decline.
Send requests to info@teampaypro.com or call (435) 669-0567. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act, and we will tell you the outcome. Backups and records we must keep by law may be removed on a delay.
State privacy laws, such as the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, apply only to businesses that meet their thresholds. PayPro honors the requests described here whether or not such a law applies.
12. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Security
PayPro uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so sensitive implementation details should be exchanged through an approved channel. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and authorities as required by applicable law, including Utah’s breach notification requirements.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will say so on this page.
15. Contact
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@teampaypro.com or discussed with PayPro at (435) 669-0567.
