How PayPro works

Three steps to a clear answer.

You don’t need to understand every line on your bill. That’s what the review is for. One local contact, and no obligation to switch.

  • Free payment review
  • No obligation to switch

St. George, Utah

Three steps. No guessing.

  1. A laptop showing a detailed business analysis dashboard
    Your current setup01 / 03

Step 1: Share your current setup

Tell us how you take payments: at a counter, on a job, online, or a mix, and what software or equipment you want to keep.

We typically reply the same business day
    What we need
A recent, complete processing statement, if you have one. No statement yet? Start with a conversation.
    What you get
A reply from a real person, and how to send your statement safely.
  2. Waves rolling onto a quiet coast beneath a hazy horizon
    A clearer comparison02 / 03

Step 2: See your options side by side

We review your fees and ask suitable providers for proposals, then walk you through costs, terms, and tradeoffs in plain English.

Typically 1–2 business days once we have your statement
    What we need
Short answers about your equipment, software, and how customers pay. We handle the provider conversations.
    What you get
Your real cost per $100 you take in, next to each option’s fees, equipment, software, funding, and terms. Then a no-pressure call.
  3. Sunlight breaking through clouds over a red-rock landscape
    Your next step03 / 03

Step 3: Decide with the details in front of you

You choose whether a change makes sense. If it does, we help coordinate the setup. If your current arrangement holds up well, we’ll tell you.

Switching typically takes 1–2 weeks, depending on provider approval
    What we need
Your decision, the new provider’s application details, and time to read its agreement. We help you check term, renewal, and cancellation costs.
    What you get
If you switch: help with equipment, setup, and testing. If you stay: a clear answer and no obligation.

See the complete deal, not just the headline rate.

A lower advertised rate can still cost you more once you count software that doesn’t fit, slow funding, weak support, or restrictive terms. PayPro compares the parts that affect your real business.

Ongoing supportDepends on the providerPayPro stays your advocate

Typical of a single-provider sales process; it varies by provider. Provider availability and approval vary by business, and PayPro does not represent every provider in the market.

What should I have ready?

Not much. Bring what you have, and we’ll help with the rest.

  • A recent, complete statement

Every page of your latest full month, if you can find it.

  • Your current software and equipment

Your POS, terminal, online checkout, or invoicing tool.

  • What you’d like to improve

Cost, funding speed, support, equipment, or how your tools connect.

No statement yet? You can still start a conversation. Please keep full card numbers, bank account details, tax IDs, and passwords out of email. We’ll tell you how to send your statement safely.

Compensation

Your review is free. Here is how we get paid.

Your payment review is free. If you choose a provider through PayPro, we may receive compensation from that provider. We explain any separate fees before you agree to them.

  • We compare your complete outcome across pricing, service, technology, risk, and terms, not compensation alone.
  • PayPro is independent from any single processor. We don’t represent every provider in the market, and availability and approval vary by business.

The Merchant Bill of Rights.

Every PayPro merchant deserves:

  1. A clear explanation of what you pay per $100 you take in
  2. Visibility into major fees and markups
  3. Honest disclosure of how PayPro is paid
  4. A comparison that includes more than headline price
  5. Control over the final provider decision
  6. Help coordinating setup if you switch
  7. Someone to call with questions after you decide
  8. Written terms before any technology work begins

Know who to call with questions.

PayPro helps you with

Advice from a local person who knows your setup.

  • Reading and explaining your statement
  • Comparing proposals, costs, and terms
  • Checking compatibility before anything changes
  • Coordinating setup with your provider

Your provider handles

The processing service itself. PayPro doesn’t control these decisions.

  • Approving your account
  • Funding and deposit decisions
  • Day-to-day technical support
  • The merchant agreement you sign

Urgent payment issue? Start with your provider’s support line, then let PayPro know if you’d like help following up. We’re here Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Mountain Time.

Things you might be wondering.

Can I keep my current POS or software?

Possibly. It depends on your software, hardware, online checkout, and current agreements. We check compatibility before recommending a switch and explain any replacement work.

Will switching interrupt my business?

That depends on your setup. We plan equipment, integrations, and timing with the new provider, and discuss any testing or expected downtime before you proceed.

Will I have to sign a contract?

The free review doesn’t commit you to switch. If you choose a provider, you’ll review its merchant agreement first, and we help you check the term, renewal, and cancellation costs before you sign.

Can you guarantee a lower rate?

No. Pricing depends on your card mix, transaction size, how you take payments, and the provider’s terms. If a change doesn’t offer a clear benefit, we’ll tell you.

Before you change providers, get a clear comparison.

Send your statement, see the options side by side, and switch only if it’s worth it.
