Cookie policy.
Nothing is measured until you say so. This page lists what PayPro stores in your browser, when, and how to change your privacy choice at any time.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on teampaypro.com, when they are set, and how to control them. It works together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Nothing before consent
PayPro runs no analytics before you choose to allow them. Choosing Accept analytics turns on the measurement described below. Choosing Decline, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, keeps analytics off. Because analytics stay off until you opt in, a browser’s older Do Not Track setting does not change that default.
3. What is stored on your device
- pp_consent (localStorage): your privacy choice, saved as a small record of a version number, whether you accepted analytics, and the date. It stays until you clear it or change your choice.
- pp_lang (localStorage): your language preference, “en” or “es”.
- pp_sid (sessionStorage): a random session ID for analytics. It is created only after you accept analytics and lasts for the browser session.
- pp_hv (cookie, legacy): described in section 5.
4. Analytics
Only if you accept analytics, we may use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for cookieless page and performance measurement. Query strings are stripped, and the restricted application page is excluded.
If PayPro configures it, we may also use PostHog product analytics, forwarded through PayPro’s own server with a strict event allowlist. It uses no autocapture, no session recording, and no person profiles. No IP address is forwarded, and it never receives form values, chat text, identity details, statement data, or full page URLs.
5. Legacy headline test cookie
An earlier home page headline test set a cookie named pp_hv holding the letter “a” or “b”. That test has ended and the cookie is no longer set. An existing copy expires within 30 days of when it was set. If it is still present when you submit the review form, its single letter may be stored with your request.
6. Your choices
Open “Privacy choices” in the site footer at any time to accept or decline analytics. You can also clear site data in your browser to remove pp_consent, pp_lang, and pp_sid, and your browser can block or delete cookies. If you clear pp_consent, the site will ask for your choice again.
7. Third-party sites
Jotform (the merchant application) and Calendly (booking) open in a separate tab. They set their own cookies under their own policies, which PayPro does not control.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our storage or analytics change, and the date at the top shows the latest revision. Questions can be sent to info@teampaypro.com or discussed with PayPro at (435) 669-0567.
